55 Degrees is a small, but growing, software company that helps organizations work more effectively. We're seeking an Operations Manager to help strategize and manage day-to-day operations.

We want organizations to be able to do more with the people and resources they already have. To do this we deliver software products that help organizations be more effective in completing the work they are managing in third-party platforms such as Jira, Trello, Azure DevOps, and more. 55 Degrees is a small company in the exciting position of needing to grow so that we can continue to help organizations reach their goals.
As our Operations Manager, you’ll oversee many aspects of the day-to-day operations at 55 Degrees and help us strategize for our future success. You will be critical in helping 55 Degrees grow safely and effectively by joining our Business Operations team and working alongside our founders.
What you’ll do:
Develop, implement, and review operational processes and procedures to support strategic objectives.
Identify and address problems and opportunities for the company to become more effective and increase profitability.
Assist in oversight of budgeting, reporting, planning, and auditing for the organization.
Handle monthly and quarterly financial reporting; examine this data to find opportunities to improve profitability.
Assume responsibility for handling accounts payable and accounts receivable, including Customer quotes and invoices in coordination with our external accountant (redovisor) and auditor (revisor).
Coordinate our data privacy and security compliance efforts (GDPR, ISO 27001, and SOC 2)
Be responsible for ensuring our operations remain compliant with local laws.
Participate in planning and launching new programs with the goal of ensuring operational sustainability.
Assist with people operations activities, including recruiting, when necessary.
Required skills and attributes
Bachelor’s degree in business administration, business management, finance, economics, or accounting.
Two or more years of proven success in an operations management, or similar, role.
Excellent ability to delegate responsibilities while maintaining organizational control of operations
Multiple years of financial and account reporting experience
Proven track record of recognizing problems and improving processes in an organization.
Ability to manage conflict and build consensus and relationships among managers, partners, and employees.
Excellent communication skills, including strong written and verbal English skills.

Desired skills and attributes
Reporting on analytics for SaaS applications
Strong written and verbal Swedish and English skills
Experience in bookkeeping systems like Visma eEkonomi or Fortnox
